Scam! Fake gold bars sold
At the beginning of the year, a goldsmith in Bitterfeld-Wolfen fell victim to a fraudster who sold him worthless metal as gold. The goods were conventionally shrink-wrapped. From October 2017 to May 2018 there were six such cases of fraud involving fake gold bars in central Germany.
